First Animation

I found it quite easy to animate the text for the first time. Learning about key phrases etc. key frames, 24 frames usually in a stop motion per second.

Bouncing Ball Animation

This bouncing ball animation demonstrates how when animating this we can see the impact the drawing of the ball makes when hitting the ground and squishes to a much smaller or flatter version of itself while keeping the length the same.

Ball Animation

An Animation showing a drawing of a ball being animated frame by frame giving it the effect of moving around as if a person were to constantly throw this ball over and over again. Almost as if it were floating in an infinite loop and never stopped.

Tweening Animation

This exercise was self-explanatory as well as learning how to make curves between the tweening animation of the ball bouncing off the floor.

Animating a Scenic Background

This animation shows a scenic background that has been animated by tweening in Adobe animate.

Designing a scene from a script

The final set design I had created with Andrei shows a wooden figure that we had put red hair on as well as pieces of a pine cone Hot glued around the head. On the arms, we see styrofoam wrapped around with a piece of metal wire on each arm. The set design background shows a large cutout of a window with a piece of barbed wire fence glued from the outside, with the side windows showing a type of paper cardboard cut to size and stuck to the inside of the window where the cutout is.

Final comic storyline

Final comic animation

Showing a part of my comic created by me animated using Adobe Animate using tweening.

Jackie Chan Prints

I think these types of colors were quite vibrant and went well with the image of Jackie Chan in the center.

At first, I started the design by drawing out the print design/picture on a piece of tracing paper then proceeded to shade it out onto the Lino print. After,  using a cutting tool to carve out the design onto the Lino.

I think when looking at Jackie Chan and his backstory and career as an actor/filmmaker he shows a lot of dedication towards his work. So, I decided to use a sort of martial arts figure to better represent his passion.

I found these two artists and their work quite interesting to look at and research. As well as finding out more about their work and the type/style of artwork they create.
